摘要
In order to improve the prediction accuracy of the panel method calculating the open water performance of the Contracted and Loaded Tip(CLT)propeller, the computational theory of panel method forecasting the open water performance of CLT propeller was revised by modifying calculation model, wake vortex model and grid. The standard CLT propeller(P1727)was taken as the research object, and the wake vortex pitch and radius under different advance coefficients were extracted from the CFD’s simulation results to build the double wake vortex model. The hybrid meshing method was proposed to improve the calculation accuracy and efficiency. Compared with the International Towing Tank Conference(ITTC)experimental values, the results show that the relative errors of thrust coefficient and torque coefficient are less than 5% and the relative error of efficiency is less than 2% under the design advance coefficient, satisfying the calculation accuracy. © 2023 Journal of Propulsion Technology.
