摘要
In 2018, there were 64 million tons of primary aluminum and 12 million tons of recycled aluminum produced. Primary aluminum production from bauxite involves high-energy consumption and causes an environmental challenge by generating significant levels of waste such as tailings, red mud, and emissions of perfluorocarbon and CO2.
