摘要
The exploration of lunar resources and the utilization of lunar underground spaces are important steps for human beings to explore the moon and incorporate the moon into the scope of human activities. Based on the geological features of the moon and the temperature characteristics of lunar surface, integrated considering the factors such as the lunar latitude, the thermal conductivity of lunar soil/rock, the temperature characteristics of the lunar thermostatic layer and the latitude-dependent temperature range, the schemes of lunar underground human bases, lunar underground rail transit, lunar organism storage, and lunar thermal energy storage in the lunar thermostatic layer were proposed. Aiming at the proposed use scheme of the lunar thermostatic layer, technical implementation schemes for the space support and construction of the lunar underground human base, the lunar underground rail transit based on electromagnetic technology, the temperature-adjustable lunar strategic reserve, and thermal storage in situ based on the difference in thermal conductivity between lunar rock and soil were designed. Based on the above-mentioned schemes and technologies, this paper systematically summarized the technical challenges and key scientific problems facing in the underground space utilization of the lunar thermostatic layer. The researches provide technical solutions for the future establishment of lunar human bases and lunar underground space utilization. © 2020, Editorial Department of Advanced Engineering Sciences.
