Cooperation between different supply chain partners and an inter-company data exchange are essential success factors for companies in complex networks. A lack of data exchange and resulting information deficits, on the other hand, cause problems in supply chains. The degree of openness between companies is significantly influenced by the level of trust. This article presents an assistance system for the evaluation and design of openness and trust between supply chain partners. © 2020 Carl Hanser Verlag. All rights reserved.
