Moore's law states that with technological advance, the processing power of a computing device doubles every 2 years. As a consequence of upgrades in digital technology, an ever-increasing volume of data is being processed. With ever increasing demand for higher data rates, it is necessary to develop enhanced technologies to exploit additional spectral bandwidth. © 2020 Institute of Telecommunications Professionals.
