摘要
The study analyzes the resilience of a sub-regional community. The study of the built environment follows the fundamental and strongest role that it can play on community resilience. In this context, residential buildings are crucial and they are widely studied in terms of earthquake effects. In the proposed study, the earthquake damage suffered by residential buildings is investigated in relation to its socioeconomic importance. The resilience of residential building stock and socioeconomic aspects are considered to define earthquake risk mitigation strategies. Resilience is clearly quantified and integrated with other economic and social aspects to prioritize retrofit interventions in the study area (Agri Valley, South-East Italy).
