摘要
The paper discusses the application of a non-isolated DC-DC SEPIC converter for Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), Voltage regulation, and current control. As global energy consumption rises, effective power management becomes crucial. Power converters, including converters, inverters, and transformers, play a key role in managing energy consumption. The SEPIC converter offers advantages such as improved Power Factor, low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), and voltage regulation without the need for an isolated transformer. The system rectifies single-phase AC supply through a diode rectifier and achieves voltage regulation through the AC source and converter. Active PFC is implemented using SEPIC with control technology, employing both Fuzzy Logic Controller (non-linear) and PI Controller (linear) for control purposes. MATLAB/SIMULINK is used for performance evaluation and analysis. This approach enables efficient power conversion and management, addressing the increasing energy demands from consumers while ensuring high-quality power delivery.
