Due to the large number of new technologies involved in hydropower plant informatization projects, the wide range of fault impacts, and tight maintenance time requirements, the work of the operation and maintenance department of hydropower plants is facing increasing challenges. To address this issue, this article designs a strategy to enhance the operation and maintenance capabilities of the operation and maintenance department of hydropower plants based on the characteristics of the informatization project. The strategy includes three dimensions: accurate and efficient operation and maintenance data collection, Bayesian network-based operation and maintenance data analysis, and multi-dimensional collaborative operation and maintenance platform construction. In terms of accurate and efficient operation and maintenance data collection, three mechanisms have been proposed: identifying risk data using risk assessment technology, developing standardized emergency response strategies, and monitoring risk data based on detection technology. In terms of analyzing operation and maintenance data based on Bayesian networks, three mechanisms have been proposed: using service directory to standardize operation and maintenance data, analyzing data based on Bayesian networks, and handling faults based on hierarchical strategies. In terms of building a multi-dimensional collaborative operation and maintenance platform, three mechanisms have been proposed: building an efficient operation and maintenance organizational structure, building a multi-dimensional collaborative operation and maintenance platform, and optimizing the operation and maintenance team based on the operation and maintenance platform.
