摘要
In this study, the failure process and failure mechanism of Ti65 titanium sandwich structure subjected to three-point bending under high temperature are explored by the combination method of experimental analysis and numerical prediction. Test results show that the failure modes change and a 50% decrease in the peak compressive load occurs under high temperature. A self-developed parametric finite element model is deployed to recreate the structural details of sandwich honeycomb structures and exhibit the failure process of the titanium sandwich structure under three-point bending. The predicted failure process and critical parameters have excellent consistency with test results.
