摘要
A new species of the genus Chrissia, C. muangkanensis, new species, is described from Kanchanaburi Province in the western part of Thailand. Chrissia muangkanensis, new species, is characterised by the large and reniform carapace, the presence of two spines on the postero-ventral corner of both valves, the anterior inner list of the left valve, the incomplete posterior inner list on both valves, the right caudal ramus with very robust spines on short claws Ga and Gp and on ventral margin of ramus, the long natatory setae (reaching tip of antennal apical claws), the four-segmented Y on antenna, the slender alpha-seta with long needle-like tip, the serrated large bristles on maxillular third endite, the long g-seta and short h3 seta on the second thoracopod. Chrissia muangkanensis, new species, is the second Chrissia species described from Southeast Asia and the fourth representative of the genus in Thailand. Discussion on some taxonomic characters of the genus is provided.
