摘要
The study of disasters concerns specialized institutions and also involves the community. The objective of this report is to present the results of a work that allowed building community resilience taking as a reference the O'bourke neighborthood of the Cienfuegos municipality and with the Carlos Rafael Rodriguez University participation. This study was divided into two moments: the first consisted of carrying out a diagnosis of the community and the second in the development of theoretical-methodological activities to record the learning that led to achieving community resilience. Based on the activities carried out, it was possible to promote adaptation to climate change and mitigate its effects. It was clear that the subject' experience opens the possibility of analyzing future disaster situacions from a comprehensive vision, discovering their contradictions and limits.
