摘要
Recently, using wood composite materials as microwave absorbers has attracted much attention. This comprehensive review considers using wood raw materials such as carbon, metal/oxide metal, and polymer composites as fillers to develop microwave absorbers. The review covers various aspects, such as the electromagnetic properties of wood composites, the influence of fillers on microwave absorption properties, manufacturing methods, microstructure characterization, microwave absorption performance, and potential for industrial applications. In addition, the ecological sustainability aspects of using wood composites as microwave absorbers are also discussed. This review aims to provide valuable insights for researchers and professionals involved in developing and applying wood composites as microwave absorbers by providing a comprehensive overview.
