摘要
A novel dual-polarized end-fire phased array antenna with single-layer configuration is proposed for 5G mmWave mobile terminal applications. A parasite patch is adopted in front of the SIW open-ended antenna to realize a wideband vertical polarized element while a CPW-to-slotline transition is introduced to directly excite the tapered slot as horizontal polarized element. Simulated results indicate that an overlapping impedance bandwidth of 13.5% can be realized for the proposed design. Moreover, the mutual coupling between two adjacent elements is below -24 dB across the impedance bandwidth.
