摘要
For the Old Regime, parish books have served as a complement to population lists since Fleury spoke for the first time of the reconstruction of families. However, ecclesiastical sources offer a much broader field to the historian of the population, whether generated by the diocesan structure or produced by religious orders. This work seeks to show those possibilities, through completed studies or works in progress, prepared with sources that have not yet been explored, or of which new questions can be asked. The timeframe is that of the colonial world limited to the governments of the R & iacute;o de la Plata and Tucuman.
