摘要
Robust and trustworthy traceability systems are now essential due to the rising concerns about food safety, quality control, and transparency in the agricultural sector. Blockchain, known for its decentralized and immutable nature, has emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges and revolutionize supply chain operations. This paper attempts to figure out how Blockchain helps in enhancing transparency, traceability, security, and efficiency in supply chain processes, and its impact on reducing frauds, counterfeiters, and errors in documentation and transaction settlements. Moreover, it presents a solution for the blockchain-based Food Supply Chain (FSC) to ensure the origin and quality of provided foods through a secure and automated process. The proposed solution operates as a supply chain organization dedicated to preventing fraud in the food industry. The system comprises several actors, including senders, receivers, Indexer and Wallet. By incorporating these parameters, the proposed system addresses the challenges related to memory usage and time complexity in data storage and retrieval. Therefore, the proposed schema shows promising results in enhancing security and minimizing the retrieving time of fraud detection.
