摘要
This letter addresses the incorporation of transmission line sensor measurements into power system state estimation (SE). These measurements are obtained from various locations along a line and are different from conventional RTU measurements at line terminals (i.e., substations). We propose a measurement function that can relate the current measurements at arbitrary positions along a line to the existing state variables at substation buses using line parameters and sensor locations. Hence, these measurements can be easily incorporated into SE without altering its state vector or system model. Simulation results on the IEEE 14-bus system and the NPCC 140-bus system demonstrate that the incorporation of line sensor measurements can significantly enhance SE's noise filtering and bad data processing performances.
