摘要
Recently, with the continuous progress of nonlinear optics (NLO), the optical limiting (OL) performance of monomer materials has gradually difficult to meet the requirements. In this study, we successfully modified molybdenum disulfide quantum dots (MoS2QDs) onto the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) via an ultrasonic method, therebyobtained MoS2QDs@MWCNTs nanocomposites. The morphology, structure, composition and linear optical properties of MoS2QDs@MWCNTs were systematically investigated in detail. The NLO and OL responses of MoS2QDs@MWCNTs and its constituent materials were investigated at a wavelength of 532 nm by Z-scan technology. The third-order nonlinear polarizability of MoS2QDs@MWCNTs is 2.74 times and 4.53 times higher than that of MWCNTs and MoS2 QDs, respectively, owing to the unique optical properties of MoS2 QDs. Moreover, the nanocomposite exhibited excellent nonlinear optical limiting properties, with an optical limiting threshold of 0.73 J/cm2, which is 3.08 times higher than MWCNTs. Finally, compared to previous reports, the competitive OL performance of MoS2QDs@MWCNTs indicates its promising application prospect in the field of nonlinear optical devices.
