摘要
A bow-tie slot antenna configuration with coplanar feeding mechanism is proposed in this work to be adopted in the framework of microwave tomography system for breast cancer detection. The specific antenna layout leads to satisfy all requirements for a successful operation of the microwave imaging system, imposing unidirectional pattern, and allowing also broadband features. Numerical simulations, as well as preliminary experimental validations on the realized antenna prototypes are discussed.
