摘要
An experimental investigation on the assessment of electromagnetic interference (EMI) influence on the 5G wireless communication system is developed. The proposed EMI analysis is based on the nonlinear (NL) effect of microwave power amplifier (PA) in addition to the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) between the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) 5G system. The NL effect is quantified with 1-dB compression gain and the third order intermodulation product (IP3). The experimental setup using double frequency injection method modulating QPSK 5G-standard signals is introduced. The IP3 due to the PA NL effect are discussed. The assessed SNR is empirically determined from error vector magnitude (EVM).
