This systematic review aimed to analyze the impact of Yoga on the flexibility, balance, strength, speed and agility of professional footballers. Research was carried out in the databases B-On (Academic Search Complete; SportDiscus; APA PsycInfo), International Journal of Yoga, International Journal Yogic, Human Movement and Sport Science, GoogleScholar, PuBMed, Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Researchgate, de January 2011 to December 2022, selecting 15 eligible articles. Of these, 3 Yoga and flexibility, 1 balance ability, agility and reaction competence, 1 abdominal strength, 1 difference between resistance exercises and Yoga, 2 flexibility and strength, 1 flexibility and balance, 1 strength, 1 flexibility, balance and strength . Improving the balance and agility of footballers 1 article, 1 Flexibility and Agility, 1 on speed and agility and 1 on the better performance of athletes who practiced Yoga. Studies that included Yoga in athletes' training found improvements in flexibility, balance, strength, speed and agility. This review can be a starting point to help demonstrate the potential of Yoga as part of the training of professional football players, in improving their technical actions and as a reference in improving the study variables.
