摘要
The Alvand Complex in Hamedan area (NW-Iran) represents a key area to document the partial melting of a gabbroic protolith. In this area, where the hornblende-gabbros are in contact with coeval to younger olivine-abbros and pyroxenites, they are characterized by the diffuse presence of trondhjemite leucosomes veins. Equilibrium batch melting modelling indicates trondhjemites as the products of 2-5% degree of partial melting of the hornblende-gabbro. Thermobaric estimates indicate T 720 degrees C and P 3.5 kbar for the anatectic event.
