摘要
The purpose of this study was to report on the current scientific production regarding perceptual- motor abilities (PMA) present in the school and sports context, between the years 2015-2023. At the methodological level, the qualitative approach was taken from a bibliometric review, which included the search for research articles in the Scopus database, using the analytical research summary (RAI); subsequently, the information was transferred to a database in the Microsoft Excel 2016 program to present descriptive data; the Atlas ti v.24 Software was used for categorical analysis and, on the other hand, the VOSviewer software tool for the observation and construction of co-occurrence networks of terms related to the PMA. Regarding the results, the reinforcement of the PMA transcends the benefits at the motor level in other areas of knowledge, such as reading and writing; for this reason, stimulation at an early age from physical education class is imperative. Finally, in the categories, associations of the CPM with motor performance, basic motor skills and modular deficits are found, both in language processes and in human motor skills.
