摘要：
Pneumothorax is the most common complication of percutaneous, transthoracic lung biopsy. The insertion of a chest drain is not always necessary, because in many cases needle aspiration is sufficient to drain the air from the chest. This is the conclusion reached by Chan and his colleagues, who evaluated the data of 102 patients with biopsy-related pneumothorax.
