In this article, we show the necessary and sufficient conditions for the inequality IIuIILqtLrx IIuIIXs,b, where IIuIIXs,b := IIu(tau, xi)(xi)s(tau+I xi I2)bIIL2 tau,xi . These estimates are also referred to as Strichartz estimates related to Schr & ocirc;dinger equation. We also give a new proof of the maximal function estimates for solutions to Schr & ocirc;dinger and Airy equations.
