摘要
One in four US health care costs goes to the care of people with type 2 diabetes. Less than 1% of those who are significantly overweight consider bariatric surgery. The ARMMS-T2D study summarizes 4 observational studies and demonstrates the benefits of surgical interventions compared to medication and lifestyle modifications.
