摘要:
Vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) is a key technology in the insulation manufacturing of large superconducting coils, and the reliability of VPI process parameters is the main factor determining the insulation quality. The flow process of resin in the VPI mold is influenced by resin viscosity, differential pressure, and injection method. In order to optimize the VPI process parameters of China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor toroidal field coil, PAM-VARI software was used to numerically simulate the filling process and explore the effects of injection method, resin viscosity, and differential pressure on the resin filling process to obtain the optimal process parameters. The optimal VPI process parameters were used to test the sample, and the test results showed that the VPI process simulation was reliable, providing a theoretical basis for TF coil insulation manufacturing.
