Protection of process plants against consequences of explosions by venting, suppression and isolation

General characteristics of modem explosion protection systems designed to protect process equipments and plants against dust explosion danger were presented. The explosion venting and suppression in combination with an isolation of the process equipment were discussed. Tech. anal. of a filter dedusting system and grinding line composed of a mill, cyclone, cyclone separator, filter and fan was performed. Tech. and cost anal. of transport, storage and screening of powdres, granulates and crystals was also carried out.
