摘要
In this paper, a novel multi-layer unit cell is proposed for the transmitarray (TA) application. The proposed multi-layer unit cell is composed of a H-shaped patch in the middle with three-dipoles around it. The transmitting phase of the proposed element in x- and y-polarization is controlled by two different structures. So that the unit cell can operate at Ku and Ku band independently. The unit cell achieves a phase shift range of 3600 at the frequency of the 17.5GHz and 33GHz. The insertion loss at two different frequencies are lower than 2.5dB and 0.5dB, respectively. The proposed unit cell can be an effective candidate for satellite communications
