摘要
The use of industrial automation has seen a rise in the manufacturing industries in recent years. Spray painting is one of the tasks suitable for industrial automation implementation as it is a task that requires a steady repetitive motion during execution. This paper aims to design an automated spray painter system to be used in the aerospace manufacturing industry, as well as to further automate the environment the automated spray painter works in to create an integrated automated environment which can function with minimal human support. With the proper design, devices and communication protocol, an automated environment with collaborative robots can be achieved within an aerospace manufacturing facility.
