摘要
In this communication, the finite-integration technique/method-of-moments (FIT-MoM) hybrid method, introduced for the analysis of electromagnetic scattering by inhomogeneous bodies of revolution (BoRs), is augmented with the use of the so-called model order reduction (MOR) technique. The frequency-dependent matrix equation describing the FIT region is reduced by being projected onto proper subspace, which is constructed using the modified second-order Arnoldi method for passive order reduction (SAPOR). The augmented method may be useful for analyzing rotationally symmetric bodies with regular shapes.
