SPORT PEDAGOGY IN BRAZIL: ANALYSIS BASED ON PUBLICATIONS IN BRAZILIAN SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS BETWEEN 2015 AND 2020

We aimed to analyze publications relating to Sports Pedagogy (SP) over time. We collected data in Brazilian journals, considering the period "July/2015December/2020", including articles with the term "Sports Pedagogy" in the keywords, title and/or abstracts. We selected and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed 44 papers. We identified that 83.8% of publications are concentrated in the south and southeast region of Brazil, that there is a prevalence of theoretical research, studies focused on teaching methodology, technical-tactical aspects and institutionalized sports. Therefore, we consider it necessary to decentralize and expand the scope of research in SP and include keywords and terms that refer to it and the themes studied in the articles, facilitating their identification and access.
