摘要
The paper presents the strategy for solving 2D elastoplastic problems with various body forces using PIES. The domain for mentioned loads and simultaneously for plastic strains is modeled using Bezier surfaces. It means that it is defined globally without dividing into elements or cells. Moreover, approximation of body forces and plastic solutions is also performed globally within the entire area and the approach can be applied to any kind of body load. Two examples are considered in the paper: the first with a polygonal domain under the gravitational load and the second with a curvilinear body subjected to the centrifugal load. Both cases require using a different degree of a surface (first and third, respectively). The obtained results are compared with FEM solutions. Their high compliance confirms the effectiveness of PIES.
