摘要
The following reflexive written study seeks to share well-thought-out and innovative educational practices developed in/for higher education, through the propagation of the ongoing qualification of professors under the perspective of diversity and inclusivity, having the audio description as a resource of assistive technology. Incidentally, it aims to provide a methodological and dynamic rethink of the process of teaching and learning which could transcend the classroom environment. The research adopted a descriptive quanti-qualitative approach, through an online survey applied to the graduating course members who signed up for this study. The data analysis counted on triangulation, data mining techniques, and diagnostic and qualitative analysis. The results point out the propagation and socialization of the course offered to 204 faculty members, in discussion with over 20 Brazilian states. 68,64% of the sample presented ages ranging between 30 and 50 years old, with dominance of the feminine gender. The good educational and social practices provided by qualification are elucidated by the course members discourses. In conclusion, the capacitation through assistive technology in audio description, via distance learning, achieved the goal when it comes to diffusion and success regarding the educational abilities and increased the inclusion processes, with pedagogical strategy for an efficient communication, with equity and quality, for a critical formation as citizens.
