JOHN QUIDORT OF PARIS'S COMMENTARY ON THE SENTENCES : BOOKS III AND IV

Jean-Pierre Muller's edition of John Quidort's commentary on the Sentences contains merely books I and II, and the contents of the unedited part are not known but to a small group of scholars specialized in medieval Thomism. The materials presented here aim to provide a guide to books III and IV of Quidort's commentary: an exhaustive list of the questions, a preliminary analysis of their manuscript tradition, and editions of those questions that are crucial for understanding the distribution of the reportations in single manuscripts. From these, some editorial principles for the rest of John's work are derived.
