摘要
The ongoing integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) with robotic technologies is initiating a revolution in the construction industry; however, there is a lack of systematic reviews on the application of BIM-Robotics in the industry. This review paper provides a comprehensive analysis of this trend, assessing the workflow from BIM to robot operation. It includes discussions on the leaders in BIM-Robot, the applications of BIM-Robot integration, implications, and prospects. A systematic literature review using the PRISMA methodology was conducted via the Web of Science (WOS) database to achieve the objective. Initially, 200 articles were identified, but only 22 met the established criteria for selection. This research paper aims to serve as a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners in the AEC industry, educators, industry professionals, and policymakers. It seeks to assist them in adapting to and leveraging these emerging technologies to address the challenges of the future construction industry. By extracting data from relevant articles, the paper investigates the current leaders in robot navigation using BIM in construction, and the state of research in employing BIM for robot navigation.
