摘要
Objective: To conduct a bibliometric analysis of research output in pediatric neuroscience nursing from 2003 to 2023. Methodology: A comprehensive search was performed in the PubMed database, yielding 469 articles. Various metrics were analyzed, including annual production, citations, journal impact factors, contributions by authors and affiliations, geographical distribution, and keyword co -occurrence. Results: The study found an average annual production of approximately 18 articles with moderate year-to-year variability. Despite the consistent growth in publications, there was no discernible upward trend in citations. Ten journals emerged as the most relevant platforms for publication. The study also highlighted key authors and affiliations, with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia being the most significant contributor. Geographically, the United States consistently led in research output, with emerging contributions from countries like India. Keyword analysis revealed core themes and focus areas on the field. Conclusion: While the field is growing in terms of article production, strategies to enhance its academic and clinical impact are needed. The study serves as a valuable resource for researchers, clinicians, and nurses interested in this specialized field.
