摘要
The first research seminar of the XXV SEIEM Symposium is devoted to discuss the technological developments and their influence on mathematics education. Organized into three presentations, it will reflect on the role of technology both in the teaching-learning processes of mathematics, and in the research methodology itself. Firstly, an exploratory case of study is reported with the aim of characterizing an online design and implementation for problem-solving through technological solutions in COVID-19 times. Secondly, we reflect, based on two specific examples related to the resolution of verbal problems, on the effects of the use of technology centered on teachers or centered on the student. With this, the consequences on technological development, on the appearance of explanatory theories or their influence on research in mathematics education are analyzed. Finally, the last intervention presents a retrospective vision of the path traveled jointly by technology and mathematics education during the last decades, analyzing the challenges of the past, present and future
