摘要
La paralysie c & eacute;r & eacute;brale (PC) est l'incapacit & eacute; physique la plus fr & eacute;quente chez les enfants canadiens. Les soins complets des enfants ayant la PC, qui sont capables de marcher et qui fonctionnent aux niveaux I et II du syst & egrave;me de classification de la fonction motrice globale (GMFCS) sont d & eacute;j & agrave; expos & eacute;s dans un point de pratique. Le pr & eacute;sent document compl & eacute;mentaire traite des soins aux enfants ayant la PC qui fonctionnent aux niveaux III & agrave; V du GMFCS. Ceux qui fonctionnent aux niveaux III et IV du GMFCS utilisent des dispositifs d'assistance comme des d & eacute;ambulateurs, des cannes ou des aides & agrave; la mobilit & eacute; motoris & eacute;es, tandis que ceux qui fonctionnent au niveau V du GMFCS ont besoin d'assistance & agrave; la mobilit & eacute; comme un fauteuil roulant manuel. Le pr & eacute;sent document contient un aper & ccedil;u des principaux concepts relatifs & agrave; la d & eacute;tection pr & eacute;coce, aux services de r & eacute;adaptation et aux possibilit & eacute;s de traitement pour les enfants pr & eacute;sentant ces niveaux de PC, conjointement avec des ressources pratiques pour contribuer & agrave; la surveillance de la sant & eacute; assur & eacute;e par les p & eacute;diatres qui s'occupent de cette population.
