摘要
Light hydrocarbon mixtures separation is a very important industrial process. Here, two periodic mesoporous organosilicas (PMOs) functionalized with sulfonic acid groups have been successfully synthesized via post synthetic modification of phenylene- or biphenylene-bridged PMO material, which are used in the separation of C2H2/CH4 mixtures. The biphenylene-bridged PMO material with pendent sulfonate groups (s-PMO-2) shows up highly selective adsorption toward C2H2/CH4 mixture upon the cooperative effect of pore space and sulfonate groups. The efficiency for the separation of C2H2/CH4 mixtures is further demonstrated by column experimental breakthrough.
