摘要
The processes of transformation of the modern economy taking place in recent decades encourage researchers to determine the place of higher education in general and sets of educational programs in particular in the new conditions of the functioning of the educational services market. Since the university in this case is an intermediary between enterprises and skilled labor, its goal is to eliminate the shortage of personnel with a level of training that meets the new tasks of employers in the regional labor market and increase its level of competitiveness. The constantly changing requirements of the labor market for the qualifications of specialists, as well as the increase in the variability of educational programs offered by universities, increases the relevance of identifying and researching factors that determine the choice of applicants (students) of training areas and the university. The personal preferences of applicants are taken into account in this approach, taking into account the provisions of the theory of positional games, while the provision on maximizing the expected return on education in the chosen specialty is taken as a basis. As economic incentives, the possibility of obtaining scholarships and other financial assistance, loans, grants for training or a budget place, the amount of tuition fees, the availability of dormitories, as well as the expected income after graduation are considered. The author's approach allows to obtain operational information on the current and prospective state of the workload of educational trajectories of universities.
