摘要
As one of key technologies used to construct safe and efficient traffic systems, vehicle to X (V2X) communication has been extensively applied to improve road traffic security and efficiency. Popularity of V2X applications cannot be achieved without system function and performance tests. Considering that V2X field tests are rarely conducted in a typical traffic application scenario, three scenarios of intersection collision warning (ICW), forward collision warning (FCW), and do not pass warning (DNPW) were built in this paper based on vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication application demands of a cooperative intelligent transportation system. Then, a modular test system was constructed for its application in intelligent connected traffic according to specific testing demands. At last, packet delivery ratios and delay were utilized as evaluation indexes to test and analyze performance of DSRC and LTE-V applied in various established scenarios on one hand; and, on the other hand, comparative analysis was made correspondingly. It is observed from testing analysis results that both DSRC and LTE-V have the capability to meet basic V2V application demands. However, LTE-V performs better in confronting multipath effects caused by shelters at intersections, which signifies that LTE-V is superior to DSRC in terms of ICW application development. On the highway, DSRC plays a better role in coping with doppler shift that is generated in such a scenario and exhibits better performance in developing FCW and DNPW.
