摘要
For Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) many methods have been developed that use features extracted from vibrations under operational conditions. Most frequently derived features from modal analysis are natural frequencies, damping factors, mode shapes and possibly modal strains. Applications, SHM system design and recent trends in sensor technology will be highlighted. Finally, results are presented of a long term monitoring campaign on a steel bowstring bridge, illuminating the performance of optical strain sensors.
