摘要
A design scheme for a low-cost microwave contactless detection device that uses Doppler effect to detect fluid velocity is introduced in this paper. The three major modules, including antenna probes, microwave transceiver module and Doppler signal acquisition and processing module that make up the detection system have also been introduced in detail. The velocity measurement for a metal disc with known speed is studied and the measurement error is within 5%. Then the flow velocity of blood within the vascular system was tested and analyzed and a comparison between the results of the microwave detection device in this paper and the commercial ultrasonic device is studied with a conclusion drawn that the function of the microwave non-contact detection device for measuring fluid velocity is effective and valid.
