摘要
The comprehensive transportation system planning of prefecture-level cities has significance for urban development. It is necessary to consider the transportation location characteristics of prefecture-level cities, to propose planning strategies in coordination with regional positioning and the existing development level, which supports the planning and construction of important transportation infrastructures. This paper establishes an evaluation model of transportation location and accessibility considering highway network density, connection rapidity with regional cities, and accessibility to transportation hubs including railway, waterway, and aviation. Taking Jiangmen City as an example, this paper analyses its regional transportation advantages within the scope of Guangdong Province, in order to evaluate the effect of transportation planning. The results show that this method can effectively identify the relative level of accessibility and transportation location characteristics of a city among all prefecture-level cities in the province or urban agglomeration, which can provide support for comprehensive transportation planning.
