摘要
A large amount of the French population suffers from migraines, a debilitating condition that often goes undiagnosed and leads to self-medication as well as over-medication. Herbal medicine and aromatherapy products are able to alleviate the symptoms induced by a migraine, and are available in pharmacies where the pharmacist can recommend them in addition to more traditional treatments. Among the numerous plants and essential oils regarded as anti-migraine agents, some are to be preferred due to their favourable risk-benefit balance and their scientifically proven effectiveness.
