Distributed hydrogen energy production and utilization is an important way to solve the current long-distance hydrogen transportation and large-scale hydrogen storage problems. This paper aims to explore zero-carbon and reliable solutions for the combination of distributed renewable energy and hydrogen energy. Combined with distributed renewable energy power generation, electrolyzer hydrogen production, fuel cells and other equipment, a two-stage optimal operation scheme is proposed for an off-grid multi-energy microgrid aiming at reliability. A hydrogen-based off-grid system is taken as an example to evaluate the reliability under the proposed operation scheme. The result shows that the system can provide a reliable heat supply but has a significant power loss probability.
