NOTES ABOUT MARXISM, HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT AND SCIENCE

This research discusses some of the fundamentals of the Marxist perspective of science. Thus, we used a classic bibliography of the field, in order to identify the points of articulation between theory and practice, thought and action, science and material life. We point out that Marxism has notorious qualities when put to understand the historical development of the sciences. Therefore, as long as it is in a critical and respectful dialogue with other philosophical traditions, Marxism can continue to assist us in the historic task placed for humanity to understand and transform reality.
