摘要
The objective of this work is to outline a reference framework that allows us to know what are the types and elements that comprise a program based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which will allow us to formulate application proposals in the field of library science and studies. of the information. Although reflection and analysis on the use of AI began a long time ago, there are no cases of concrete applications in this field. The use and application of AI is already common in many of the applications and tasks that we carry out daily, although we have not realized it. The intention here is to analyze the use of AI from a process of application and continuity, which allows us to take advantage of them as tools, without their implementation leading us to think that control of some professional activities will be lost or, where appropriate, there will be a replacement by programs that automate them. The proposal then is to focus on the possibilities offered by AI in the library field and information studies from an irruption paradigm that leads to continuity in the search for applications that support the librarian profession and research in this field. Likewise, recognize the skills that information professionals acquire in the face of contexts and application possibilities.
