摘要
Passive radiative coating (PRC) is a technique that lowers the temperature and increases the efficiency of solar cells by emitting thermal radiation to the sky without consuming any energy. This paper reviews the fundamentals, the recent progress, and the future challenges of PRC integrated with solar cells. The review covers the state -of -the -art progress on material synthesis, system designs, and practical implementations of PRC. The authors critically evaluate the different methodologies and research techniques that have been used to analyse and evaluate the cooling performance of PRC-cooled solar cells. The paper concludes by identifying the major challenges that require future research and development in the field of PRC-cooled solar cells. The authors emphasize the need for a better understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of heat transfer in PRC, as well as the development of more efficient and cost-effective PRC materials and system designs. Overall, this review provides valuable insights into the current state -of -the -art of PRC-cooled solar cells and highlights the key challenges that need to be addressed to further advance.
