摘要
This study aims to analyze the perspective of university students in the Dominican Republic on the use of technology by faculty in higher education. Using the probabilistic sampling formula, the target population of the study is university students in the Dominican Republic. To define it more precisely, factors such as career, year of study, university, and region of the country were considered. The students who agreed to participate completed the online questionnaire, all 100 responses. The survey included questions about the frequency and effectiveness of the use of technology by teachers in their classes, as well as about the perceived benefits and difficulties in its use. The results show that most university students in the Dominican Republic perceive that teachers use technology in their classes, but in many cases in a limited or inefficient way. It is concluded that the effective use of technology by faculty in higher education can improve the quality of teaching and efficiency in academic management, but requires greater training of teachers and greater investment in infrastructure and technology in universities to ensure that all students have access to the necessary technological tools.
